HARMONY WEEK

Harmony Week celebrates Australia's cultural diversity

We're proud to celebrate the diversity of our community

Our Multicultural Story

GSDVIA's Multicultural Harmony Photograph Collection

First Episode

The Multicultural Harmony Photograph Collection supports Australian Harmony Week at the GSDVIA.

In the weeks leading up to Harmony Week, we're encouraging members of our local community, friends, and organization members to take photos of their family's traditional attire to celebrate its cultural diversity.

Through the costume, our friends and community members share, we can better understand different cultures.

Our friends are encouraged to participate in the local Multicultural Festival and share their photos with us.

Participants in the GSDVIA Multicultural Harmony Photograph Collection for Harmony Week event will receive certificates. We will share our story on the GSDVIA website and the Australian Government Home and Affairs - Harmony Week website with pictures www.harmony.gov.au

Second Episode

We are building networks together to celebrate as a community how all our differences make Australia a great place to live and promote Australian Harmony Week to capture images of

diversity, inclusion, respect and belonging

With the GSDVIA's Multicultural Hi-Tea Harmony Celebration, we bring communities together, share photographs of family members dressed in traditional attire, and encourage cultural diversity and inclusion.

It creates an opportunity for us to think, talk, and recognize how our differences and similarities can

make Australia a great place to live.

Third Episode

GSDVIA’s New Direction 2022: Empowering Healthcare and Sustainable Wellbeing,

We are committed to Health Promotion Charities through Sustainable Healthcare Action,

building a holistic digital platform to support resilient communities and Driving Sustainable Growth.

By collaborating with the government, hospitals, and research institutions, we engage in health promotion and disease prevention research to engage healthcare sustainability.

Health is an inclusive workplace where we acknowledge and respect our front-line health hero’s hard work. During Australian Harmony Week, multicultural communities would like to express our gratitude.

We present the donation to Mater Hospital from multicultural communities to acknowledge the monumental contribution of healthcare silent heroes to the well-being of Australians.
